For patients who decide to go ahead with dental veneers, you will need several visits to the practice to complete the treatment.
Initially, your dentist will prepare the teeth by removing a tiny layer of enamel. This can be carried out without anaesthetic, but we are happy to use this if you would prefer. Detailed impressions of your teeth will be taken, which will then be used by the dental laboratory to produce your individual, personalised veneers that are exactly the shape, size and colour required to create the smile of your dreams.
While your dental veneers are being crafted, we will place temporary versions. These will be strong and highly aesthetic – the only thing better will be your permanent veneers. Once your veneers are ready, you will return to the practice so your dentist can prepare your teeth and fit the new veneers.
We will talk to you about the best way to look after your new veneers, which could include hygiene therapy appointments. You can then get on with your life and have the confidence to show off your new smile to the world.

Only natural teeth can be whitened with tooth whitening gel. If you would like whiter teeth, a course of teeth whitening treatment is recommended prior to dental veneer treatment. Once you have achieved your desired shade, we can match your dental veneers to your natural teeth.
