Since attending this practice the condition of my gums and teeth have improved thanks to the advice and treatment offered.
Time is never an issue, you never feel there's someone waiting in the waiting room.
If gum disease is left untreated for a long time, it can be difficult to get it under control.
There are two main types of gum disease – periodontitis and gingivitis. Gingivitis can cause bad breath and bleeding when brushing, and can lead to the more serious type of gum disease, periodontitis.
Periodontitis is when the tissues that support and hold the teeth in place become infected, causing damage to the jawbone and ultimately, loss of the tooth or teeth.
Gum disease can be treated and reversed with a combination of hygiene appointments and a robust home care regime. Your dental hygienist will be able to provide advice and tips on how to boost your oral care between hygiene appointments. Periodontitis cannot be reversed but the symptoms can be managed with advanced gum care by your dental hygienist.
Our team strongly believes that no one should ever feel embarrassed about anything they are experiencing when it comes to oral health, or how to properly and effectively clean teeth.
In fact, many adults have never been shown how to brush or floss correctly.
Once you start to attend regular hygiene therapy appointments you will receive the support you need to achieve a healthy mouth. Your dental hygienist will share the best ways to look after your teeth and gums at home, by showing you different tools and techniques most suitable for your own specific needs. Every patient and every mouth is different, and we will always treat you as an individual – there is no one size fits all approach here.
Our dental membership plans are designed to help you achieve excellent oral health, with ongoing dental care that is accessible, high quality, and affordable.
With a single, budget-friendly monthly fee, our dental membership plans cover you for your routine dental check-ups, hygiene appointments, and a 5% discount on most standard dental procedures, so that you can feel good about your smile.
